State President – Kristy Modrow, Ed.D.
Student Relations & Experiential Learning Director of School of Public Affairs – St. Cloud State University
Kristy Modrow has served as the State Legislative Chair since 2019, is a member of the St. Cloud State University (SCSU) ASF Meet and Confer Committee, and is a Steward. Previously, she served as the SCSU ASF Secretary (2019-2021) and as a member of the Meet and Confer Committee (2014-2019). Kristy has also served as the ASF representative on the MinnState Law Enforcement Education Reform Taskforce and locally on the Professional Improvement Fund Committee and Parking Appeals Committee. She is the Student Relations and Experiential Learning Director in the SCSU School of Public Affairs and previously worked in Alumni Relations. Prior, she worked in Student Life and Development at Century College. Kristy has been a member of MSUAASF since 2008 and holds an Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration, MS & BS in Mass Communication.
State Vice President – Marie Slotemaker, MS

Marie Slotemaker is currently serving in the role of Minnesota State University Mankato’s ASF Past President and is an active member of the Minnesota State University, Mankato ASF Meet and Confer team. Previously, Marie has served at MSU, Mankato in the roles of local ASF President (2022-2024), President-Elect (2021-2022) and Treasurer (2018-2021). Marie previously worked in the College of Science, Engineering and Technology and TRiO Student Support Services. Marie has been a member of ASF since 2006, is a two-time alumna of MSU, Mankato where she earned a MS in Counseling and Student Personnel and a BS in Corrections.
State Treasurer – Ellie Ahmann, MS

Ellie Ahmann has been an ASF member since 2020. She currently serves as SMSU’s lead negotiator for ASF contract negotiations; she was also SMSU’s lead negotiator on the 2023-25 ASF negotiations team. Prior to her time at SMSU, Ellie worked in student advising at Arizona State and admissions at Northern Arizona University. She received her BA in psychology from CSB/SJU, and her MS in Student Affairs Administration from UW – La Crosse.

Bonner has been involved in ASF since 2014 on the BSU Meet & Confer team, and later in the President-elect, President, and Past-President roles. He has served twice on the MSUAASF Negotiations team as the lead contract negotiator from Bemidji. He is involved in many campus and State committees including Strategic Enrollment Management, Transfer Improvement, HLC Accreditation, Transfer Pathway Team, and several others. Bonner earned a BS in Geographic Information Systems from UW-Madison, and an MS from Minnesota State University-Moorhead.
