Each Minnesota State university campus has its own local ASF organization with a constitution and locally elected officers. Campus associations meet to discuss pertinent issues and to prepare for monthly “meet and confer” sessions with university presidents and management representatives. Each local organization also elects a representative to serve on the statewide contract negotiations team.
The statewide board is comprised of ASF employees just like you:
- Four elected officers (State President, State Vice President, State Treasurer, State Secretary)
- Seven state university Campus Presidents
- State ASF Grievance Officer
- Teamsters Local 320 Business Agent (ex officio)
- Legislative Affairs Chair
- Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Chair
- Membership Chair
The state board meets quarterly to discuss issues of statewide impact and for meet and confer sessions with the Minnesota State Chancellor and members of their staff.
